Combo Creative is a communication design shop based in Vancouver, BC. We help clients build their brand and get their messages out through a winning combination of strategy, writing and design services.

Our core team of experienced and astute strategists collaborate with seriously creative talent to ensure the ideal mix of skills and solutions for each project.

Flexibility is the key to our success. We work with our clients to determine their marketing needs and recommend the optimal combination of our services (hence our name). This could mean a complete brand refresh for one, a new name for another, or a website for yet another.

Combo was founded in 2009 as a place for highly skilled creatives who want to produce engaging work with smart people for great clients. This approach has drawn remarkably talented creatives into the Combo fold and produced consistently exceptional results for our clients.

Su T Fitterman
Founder + Creative Director

Su T is an award-winning copywriter turned communication design creative director. At Combo, Su T oversees designers, writers, strategists, web developers and printers. She’s fast, thorough, calm (OK, 96% of the time), independent—and enjoys it all tremendously. She also has a knack for helping clients realize their genuine voice. While Su T believes in active verbs and the thumb’s up emoji, she is still coming to terms with the Oxford comma.

Kelly Korbin
Strategist + Writer

Kelley has 25+ years experience as a communications strategist. Over the years she has built a reputation as an outstanding conduit between clients and creatives. Her approach to account management involves consistently encouraging her clients and team to “take a step back” and examine what they hope to accomplish and why, then collaborating to develop practical plans and tactics to get there.

Leanne Asante
Writer

Over the course of her career, Leanne has written award-winning digital, direct and general ad content for everything from cell phones to cooktops, RSPs to real estate, and lipstick to low-flow toilets. While she excels in weaving both art and strategy into her writing, Leanne is most proud when her words are able to make a positive difference in people’s lives.

Christina Lauer
Art Director + Designer

A graduate in visual communications from the Academy of Fine Arts in Hamburg, Germany, Christina worked as a designer in Australia and Canada for nine years before settling in Copenhagen. From there, she worlds to create visual identities and digital designs for organizations, specializing in the education, research, culture and technology sectors. For Christina, great design is the powerful synergy between context, concept and craftmanship.

Talia Cohen
Art Director + Designer

A multidisciplinary designer and art director, Talia believes in the importance of creating memorable brands by bridging the gap between strategy and design, with a focus on impactful and unexpected experiences. Her work is guided by a strong, analytical approach, coupled with a passion for craft. Talia recently spent time as the managing digital art director at Lululemon, with a focus on interactive experiences.

Designer

Nancy is a Vancouver-based senior designer and illustrator specializing in logo design, idea generation and brand development. She is revered for her brilliant visual identities and encyclopedic knowledge typography.
